Chas. Hall of Owen, was a visitor here Tuesday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schultz, Feb. 6th, a daughter.

Bud Prentice called on Bob Harvey? at Colby last Monday evening.

Rev. Artmann of Colby visited with Rev. Schuster Tuesday afternoon.

Albert Strebe and Chas. Hoffman were business callers at Colby, Tuesday.

Ralph Horn is back at his old job waiting on the patrons of the Berry meat market.

Wm. Babler and Frank Parkhill went to Ashland last Monday on a business trip.

Alfred Horn has accepted a position with the Globe Electric Co., at the local power house.

Rev. Joseph Schuster will deliver his illustrated lecture on Alaska, at Dorchester next week.

The concert which Rev. Schuster had planned to give on St. Patrick’s day has been postponed until after Easter.

The high school basket ball teams go to Rib Lake next Friday afternoon, where they both expect to win or get beat again.

Watson Prentice, who is attending the University of Minnesota, arrived Sunday to spend a week’s vacation with his parents.

The high school will give a play entitled “As A Woman Thinketh,” at Young’s opera house, Saturday evening, Feb. 10th.

Miss Mabel Dickinson, who has been seriously ill with rheumatism for the past few weeks, is now able to be up and around.

Mrs. E. Williams of Milwaukee, who has been visiting at the L. F. Burbach home for the past three weeks, returned home on Friday morning last.

The W.C.T.U. postponed their meeting on account of cold weather and bad drifts. The meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Swarthout Saturday afternoon, Feb. 10th. Everybody invited.
