J. W. Clayton autoed over from Withee Monday on business.

Mrs. O. Janke, of Owen, spent Sunday here with relatives and friends.

Victor Nehs, of Neillsville, was a business visitor here on Wednesday last.

T. B. Peterman and Casper Olson autoed to Medford last Friday, on business.

Alex Zasoba was a guest at the home of his brother, John, at Withee last week Wednesday.

Miss Alma Botterud returned home from Superior, where she has been working, last week Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Randall, of Owen, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Machlett.

Mrs. H. J. Patitz and daughter, Elsa, of Stevens Point, were visitors of relatives here Tuesday evening.

Miss Gretchen Meyers, of Abbotsford, was a guest at the Chas. Block home last Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wachsmuth, of Abbotsford, visited with relatives and friends here a couple of days the past week.

Merwin Hawks, who has been employed as clerk at Green Bros. store the past few weeks, left for Duluth one day last week.

S. N. Olson and son, Walter, of Stanley, were visitors here last Saturday, being guests at the home of their son and brother, Casper Olson.

Henry Stanz, who has been employed in the Luethy cheese factory for the past couple of months, returned to Milwaukee the latter part of last week.

Rev. Hueneman and family arrived here from Sheboygan last week Saturday. The Reverend will take charge of the services in the German Reformed church during the summer months.

Mrs. Fred Machlett entertained at a card party last Saturday evening, in honor of the teachers. The head prizes were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Zanzel and the consolation prizes to Miss Hattie Hause and Mr. Arthur Thompson. A dainty lunch was served and all reported a very enjoyable time.
