Ray Crosby of Freeman, Michigan, spent a few days last week with his brother Harry and family.

Rufus Runzheimer returned to Ripon Sunday to start on another year’s course at Ripon college.

Miss Margaret Klumpjan is visiting relatives at Prairie du Chien. She expects to return home next week.

Mayor Grimes autoed to Clintonville this morning and will spend a few days looking after his farm interests there.

Edward Malone, editor of the Waterford Post, died at his home in Waterford on Monday morning, September 24, 1917.

Miss Rose Thorn went to Milwaukee Tuesday to spend a couple of weeks with her sister, Mrs. Herman Glass, and other relatives.

Rev. and Mrs. A. L. Scherry and little daughter are spending the week with relatives and friends at Sheboygan and Kaukauna.

John Tesmer and Ed. Feind were Marshfield visitors last Friday. Ed. went to consult Dr. Hipke and John had some business to tend to.

Leo Firnstahl returned home from the Marshfield hospital, Saturday, where he had been operated for appendicitis. Leo says he feels alright again.

Mrs. C. R. Bassett arrived from Waunakee Saturday evening and will spend a few weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Knebel, and brother John and family.

Miss Florence Behnke, who had been a patient at the Marshfield hospital for several weeks, where she underwent an operation for appendicitis, returned home last Friday.

Mrs. John Blastic has made several trips to Marshfield during the past week. Their youngest child is suffering from an eye infection and is receiving treatment from Dr. Hipke.

Wm. Gosse went to Sheboygan, Tuesday, to attend a meeting of the Reformed Church Synod. He will also visit with relatives in Milwaukee and expects to be away about a week.

Mrs. C. L. Kendall left here Saturday after having spent several days with her daughter, Mrs. O. R. Briggs. She had also been visiting her daughter, Mrs. R. L. Cleaves, at Holcombe.
