Surnames: Smith, Kayhart, McMillan, Howard, Draper ---------Source: NEILLSVILLE TIMES (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 07/10/1902 --------- Smith, Mr./Mrs. Edward (Gold – 7 JUL 1902) Edward Smith and wife of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) celebrated their golden wedding last Monday, July 7th, 1902, at their home, assisted on the occasion by their six children, Mrs. Chas. Kayhart, Mrs. Anna McMillan of Bisbee, Ariz., Mrs. Amy Howard of Kansas, Walter S. Smith, Edward Smith Jr., and Miss Mildred Smith, of Withee, and Clerk of Court F.W. Draper, wife and daughter Bernice of Neillsville, Mrs. Draper being the daughter of Mrs. Kayhart, and little Bernice being the only great-grandchild present. Friends Thomas Kerns and wife and W.H. Mead and wife were also present from this city. The aged and happy couple received many golden gifts, most golden of all being the love and respect of those about them. A generous banquet was eaten and the day and evening devoted to a good old fashioned visit among the reunited family and friends. |
