On Tuesday evening, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ring, in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), took place the wedding of Victor E. Huntzicker and Blanche A. Ring. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. R. F. Niles of Menominee, Wis., and the bridesmaids were Misses Ethel and Alice Ring, sisters of the bride. The ribbon girls were Miss Avis Ring and Miss Hilda Van Hise, cousins of the bride; the pages were Masters Warren Bradbury and Will North. The bride wore a beautiful gown of white crepe de chine, and her only ornament being her parent’s gift, a chrysanthemum brooch of Wisconsin pearls. The bride’s shower bouquet was composed of lilies of the valley tied with narrow white satin ribbons. The bridesmaids also wore white and carried bouquets of bridal roses. The groom was in conventional black.

As Whitcombs orchestra played the wedding march from Lohengrin the bridal party, the bride upon the arm of her father, passed from the hall to the alcove at the west end of the dining room, where the ceremony was performed, under an arch of smilax and Roman hyacinths. The house was trimmed with roses, ferns and holly.

After the ceremony a reception was held for an hour and shortly after 9 o’clock guests were served with refreshments. During the evening the orchestra rendered “O, Promise Me,” and other selections.

The bride was born and reared at Neillsville, and is universally admired for her beauty and accomplishments. She was educated in our city schools, and at Downer College, where she graduated, and later took two years training at the Menominee Kindergarten Training School.

The groom is a son of Mrs. H. M. Root of this city, was a resident of Neillsville from his earliest youth until he reached maturity. He was educated at Ripon College and at Leland Stanford University. He established a bank here, and ran it successfully for several years, located at Salt Lake City, Utah, later near which city he has extensive mining interests. He and his bride took the midnight train for that city, where they will make their home. The presents were numerous and beautiful. May good fortune ever attend them.

A large number of friends of the bride and groom witnessed the ceremony, friends who have known them all their lives, and many relatives. Among the out of town guests present were: Mrs. Charles R. Van Hise and daughter, Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Janet M. Ring, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. John Thayer and daughters Minnie and Bessie of Sparta, Wis.; Mrs. G. L. Prescott, London, Eng.; Miss Charlotte Conroy of Milwaukee; Miss Avis Stenson, New Lisbon; Miss Edna Thomas, Eau Claire; Miss Mary Jackson, Minneapolis.
