--------- Mason, Mary E. #3 (1850? – 2 FEB 1904)

Miss Mary E. Mason died Feb. 2nd, 1904 at Castle Rock, Wash., of heart disease, aged 53. The body was brought here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) by the brother, Milo P. Mason, arriving on the midnight train from the west Sunday night, for burial in the family lot at the side of her mother and father. She was seemingly in good health and ate dinner half an hour before she died. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Burt and Mrs. Buland, and the brothers, Milo, Irving and Walter. The family made their home two miles north of this city from 1862 until the surviving members of the family went west some years ago. The funeral took place Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. W. T. Hendren, now of Greenwood, her old pastor, officiating.
