Surnames: McCarron, Stange, Oestreich, Welhlem, Jensen, Mattson, Lott ----Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 04/12/1956 ----McCarron, Verla (Marriage – 7 Apr. 1956) Verla McCarron of Loyal, daughter of Mrs. Milla Lott of Curtiss, and Harold C. Stange, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Oestreich of Loyal, were united in marriage in the Evangelical Lutheran church in Curtiss Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. Max Welhelm reading the marriage ceremony. Nora Jensen sang “O Perfect Love” and “O Promise Me,” accompanied by Mrs. Arnold Jensen. Mrs. Robert Mattson served as matron of honor for her sister and the groom’s brother, Lyle Stange, was best man. White carnations composed the corsage pinned at the shoulder line of the light blue suit selected by the bride. Her accessories were blue and white. Mrs. Mattson was attired in a gray suit accented with blue accessories and a white corsage. A luncheon was served in the Curtiss hall which was followed by a reception at the home of the groom’s parents.
