Miss Bertha Quast, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Quast, Town of Seif, and Ernest Cram, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cram, Sr., Town of Weston, were united in marriage Thursday, October 17, at the Globe Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Adolph Schumann performing the double ring ceremony. Large baskets of white and yellow pom-poms decorated the altar, and a white carpet was laid down the aisle for the wedding party.

The bride wore a white taffeta, satin-figured gown which ended in a train. It had a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. She wore a finger-tip veil edged in lace and carried a bouquet of American beauty roses and white carnations arranged with a shower of rosebuds. Her only jewelry was a gold, heart-shaped locket.

Miss Edna Quast, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Clara Cram, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid. The maid of honor wore blue, and the bridesmaid wore yellow.

The groom was attended by Bill Price and Henry Quast, Jr., brother of the bride. The groom wore a red rose and his attendants each wore a white carnation.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated with blue, yellow and white streamers. The supper table was centered by a three-tier wedding cake baked by Mrs. Richard Hagedorn. The supper guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Quast, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quast and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zickert, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Zickert and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Voight, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hemp and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staral and son, George Hardy, Arlene Zickert, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hardy and Lucille Alberts of Woodstock, Ill.

In the evening a shower and dance was given at the Silver Dome.

The couple will reside at Woodstock, Ill., where the groom is employed.
