October 24, 1946 ---Selves, Ruth (Marriage - 12 October 1946) Miss Ruth Selves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Selves of Neillsville, and Armin Moh, son of Mrs. Dora Moh of Granton were united in marriage in a 7 o’clock candlelight service, October 12, at the Zion Lutheran Church at Granton, the Rev. Wm. A. Lauterbach, pastor, performing the ceremony before a large group of invited guests. The church was decorated for the occasion with baskets of garden flowers. The bride’s dress was of lace over taffeta and her flowers were an arrangement of white gladioli and pink roses. She wore a finger-tip veil of illusion and bordered with lace. It was held by a beaded halo. Miss Ruby Selves, the bride’s twin sister, was maid of honor. She was attired in a peach net over taffeta gown. Her flowers were peach colored gladioli. The bridesmaids were Mrs. William Hintz of Marshfield, a sister of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Moh, Hinsdale, Ill., a sister of the groom. Charles Richardson of Minocqua was best man. Lucian Moh, brother of the groom and Norman Hannemann of St. Louis served as groomsmen. Norbert Moh and Theodore Hillert were ushers. Mrs. Arthur Lichte, who sang “the Twenty-Third Psalm,” and “Oh, Blest the House Whate’er Befall,” was accompanied by Richard Hillert, Jr. Supper was served to 70 guests at the Merchants Hotel, Neillsville. The table was decorated in pink and white and centered with a wedding cake made by Mrs. Edwin Sternitzky. The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School and the groom from the Granton High School. After November 1, the couple will be at home to friends on the groom’s farm on route 2, Granton.
