---Seelow, Berdella R. (Marriage - ? 1946)

Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church was the scene Saturday afternoon of the marriage of Miss Berdella R. Seelow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow, Town of York, and Herman Carl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Carl, Town of Pine Valley. The Rev. N. J. Dechant, pastor of Zion church, performed the double ring ceremony. The church was decorated with bouquets of mixed flowers. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin and a fingertip veil. Her flowers were white mums and pink roses.

Miss Irene Carl, sister of the groom, and Miss Virginia Dux, a cousin of the groom, attended the bride. The groom’s attendants were Frederick and Russell Seelow, brothers of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the house being decorated with pink, blue and white streamers and white wedding bells. In the evening, a wedding dance was given at the Silver Dome.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Neillsville High School. Since her graduation, the bride has been employed at the Schultz Bros. store. The groom has assisted his father in farming and recently has been employed at the Farmers Union.

The couple has gone on a short wedding trip, and plan to reside in this community.
