Mr. and Mrs. Albert Manthei, newlyweds, are making their home in Rochester, Minn., where the groom has resided for some time and where he has been employed as a mechanic. He is the son of Mrs. Bertha Manthei of Neillsville and spent his boyhood near Globe. The bride is the former, Miss Evelyn Maas, daughter of Mrs. Agnes Maas of Millville, Minn.

The couple was married April 8, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin, Minn. The Rev. C. A. Affelt performed the ceremony.

For her wedding the bride wore a navy blue gabardine suit with navy accessories and a corsage of white orchids. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Maas.

Following the ceremony a reception and luncheon were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Maas in Winona, Minn.

Guests from away included the groom’s mother, Mrs. Bertha Manthei of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hemp of Rochester, Minn.
