Surnames: Molle, Zimmerman, Huber --------- The Loyal Tribune 24 December 1942 --------- Molle, Berdine (15 DEC 1942) Miss Berdine Molle, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Molle of Unity, became the bride of Emanual Zimmerman, son of Rev. and Mrs. Ethan Zimmerman, also of Unity, in a ceremony performed last Tuesday afternoon in St. John’s Lutheran church at Riplinger, with the Rev. Gerhardt Reiff of Marshfield officiating. The bride was gowned in white rayon crepe. She wore a finger tip tulle veil and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums, orange blossoms and pompom. Her only attendant was her sister, Darlene, who was gowned in a rose taffeta dress and wore a circular rose veil with floral headdress and a corsage of pompoms and chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by David Huber of Spencer. Supper was served to 23 guests at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated for the event with pink and white streamers. Friends from away were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Zimmerman and daughter Jeanette of Granton, Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kinche of Dorchester, John Hoops, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Huber and David and Elroy Huber of Spencer, Miss Bertha Hardrath of Riplinger and the Rev. Gerhardt Reiff of Marshfield. The young couple are now at home to friends on the bridegroom’s farm, near unity. Congratulations are offered the newlyweds by friends. |
