PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Bradley D. Larsen, 77, Port Orange, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008. Mr. Larsen had lived in Neillsville and Marshfield before moving to Port Orange, Fla.

He was born April 29, 1931, to Ingvart and Gerelda (Thompson) Larsen. He was the oldest of three children. Brad started working at the Marshfield Clinic in 1955 and became the Executive Director. In 1971, he took the position of Executive Vice President and CEO of the First National Bank at Neillsville, working there until he retired.

He served 12 years in the Wisconsin National Guard, earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Brad was active in the community. He held the title of Worshipful Master of the Neillsville Masonic Lodge, was an active member of the Neillsville Lions Club, President of the Retail Credit Association of Wisconsin, and a member of the Clark/Taylor Banker's Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and took numerous motor home trips with his wife and friends.

Brad was married to Joan Allen. They had two sons, Jeffrey A. and James T. Larsen. Joan preceded him in death in 1997. Brad is survived by his brother, Forest (Angie) Larsen, Neillsville; his sister, Deon (James) Spangler, Neillsville; sons, Jeffrey (Debbie) Larsen, Naples, Fla., and James (Marla) Larsen, Sanford, Fla.; four grandchildren, Odessa King, Jennifer Manning, Erik Larsen, Jesse Larsen; as well as his great-grandchildren, Devin and Gabriel Mistry, Ethan and Brady Manning, Talon King; and his long time special friend and neighbor, Nancy Force.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., services at 11 a.m., followed by a lunch at noon, all at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville on Oct. 11, 2008. Interment will be held at the Neillsville city cemetery.
