April 22, 1948 ---Aberle, Elsie (Marriage – 17 April 1948) The marriage of Miss Elsie Aberle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Aberle of Neillsville, and Loren N. Lockman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Lockman, also of Neillsville, took place Saturday afternoon, April 17, (1948) at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Lauterbach of Granton. Attendants were Miss Carol Hansen and Robert Mortenson. The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School. The groom is employed by a road construction company and will work for a time in this community. They are residing in Neillsville. A dinner for the wedding party was served at 8 o’clock at the Keller Fireplace.
