Volume 48, No. 30, July 23, 2008, Page 14 ----Nikolay, Amber (Marriage - 4 July 2008) Nikolay - Westberg Amber Nikolay and Scott Westberg were united in marriage July 4, 2008, at St. Paul’s Old Norwegian Church, Curtiss. Pastor Kris Bjerke-Ulliman officiated. Amber is the daughter of Janine Schiszik (Dan Leonhardt), Stratford, and David Nikolay, Abbotsford. Scott is the son of Rick and Myna Westberg, Unity. The bride wore a simple, elegant dress and veil with long, removable train. She carried orange and white Gerbera daisies and red and white roses. The couple left the ceremony in a cart driven by llamas. The groom is a former llama farmer and shearer. Maid of honor was Kathryn Noval, Winston-Salem, NC, friend of the couple. Best man was Chris Tracy, King, NC, friend of the couple. Ushers were Brad Westberg, Unity and Ben Nikolay, Auburndale. The ring bearer was Tuck, the beloved dog of the bride and groom. Music during the ceremony was provided by Carla and Kyle Leonhardt and Sharol and Bill Lehnertz. A reception for 100 guests was held at the West 14th Restaurant, Marshfield. Amber is a graduate of Colby High School and Ripon College. She is the office manager for a publishing company. Scott is a graduate of Columbus High School and is a district manager for Family Video. They will reside in Winston-Salem, NC. |
