Miss Wendy Tait, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Tait of Boston, England, was married Tuesday, July 24, at St. Botolph’s church, Boston, England, to Lt. David S. Loos, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Loos of Colby.

The bride, who was educated at Boston High School and the London College of Secretaries, has been a private secretary in London for the past three years. The bridegroom is a graduate of Colby High School and gained a degree in civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin before commencing his two years of military service. He is at present stationed at the U.S.A.F. Base, East Kirkby, England.

Canon E. K. Ellis conducted the service and Dr. J. P. Marshall presided at the organ.

Given away by her father, a well known Boston business man, the bride wore a full-length dress of white lace with a coronet of camellias and a short veil. She held a hand shower of pale pink roses, white carnations and stephanotis.

Chief bridesmaid was Miss Sally Day, the bride’s cousin. Two five-year-olds, Marion Tait, the bride’s cousin, and Shirley Humphries, the bride’s god-child, were also attendants. All three were in daffodil nylon net full length dresses with headdresses of mixed real flowers in pastel shades and they held bouquets to match their headdresses.

The bride’s twin brother, Peter Tait, was best man. Ushers were Michael Tait, David Dawson, Robert Mason and Howard Leake.

Guests attended the reception at the Louise Rooms, White Hart Hotel, Boston, and later the couple left for their honeymoon, the bride traveling in a light navy ottoman two-piece suit with orchid pink and navy accessories.

Mr. and Mrs. David Loos arrived here Monday night from England and are at the home of the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Loos. David served in the U.S. army for two years as a first lieutenant, 21 months of which were in England. He received his honorable discharge. While in England, he married Miss Wendy Tait of Boston, England, on July 24.
