Surnames: Rasmussen, Kuck, Balow, Griswold ----Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 10/11/1956 ----Rasmussen, Dorothy Verdell (Marriage – 3 Oct. 1956) Miss Dorothy Verdell Rasmussen of Colby, Route 1, whose foster parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Balow of Colby, and Lawrence Harry Kuck of Columbus were united in marriage during an 11:10 A.M. ceremony last Thursday at the Clark county courthouse in the judge’s chambers. Attendants of the couple were Miss Hilda Kuck of Columbus and Fred Griswold of Pittsville, a brother-in-law of the bride. Miss Kuck wore a corsage of pink and red roses with her blue suit and white accessories. The bridal ensemble included a winter white flannel suit with white accessories and a corsage of orchids. Immediate families were served a wedding dinner at the home of the bride following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to North Carolina and other southern states, including Florida, the Kucks will live near Columbus where Mr. Kuck is a farmer. The bride was a Colby High School senior.
