July 15, 1948 ---Gilbertson, Mattie (? – 9 July 1948) Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Gilbertson, 90, were held on Monday afternoon from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Curtiss. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. She died on Friday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ackerman, Town of Hoard. She is survived by six sons, Gunvald of Columbus, O., Ingman of Fond du Lac, Ole and Melvin of Curtiss, and Adolph and Halvon of Abbotsford; and two daughters, Mrs. Martha Harmel of Withee and Mrs. Archie Ackerman of the Town of Hoard.
