Man Killed When Cars Leave Track

An unidentified man was killed when four cars of the Soo Line Train Number 28 were derailed a mile this side of Stetsonville Wednesday night. Three cars of lumber and poles and an empty gasoline car were wrecked when they struck a sun kink caused by the heat. The body of the man was found buried underneath the poles.

A wrecker was called from Stevens Point and the tracks were cleared by midnight. The night passenger train was delayed about an hour and a half as a result of the accident.

Stetsonville Plays Ball Here Sunday Afternoon

Stetsonville will come to Abbotsford next Sunday afternoon to meet the locals for the second time this season, and will try to even up the 12 to 4 defeat Abbotsford handed then on their home lot, earlier in the season.

Last Sunday while Colby was trimming the locals 10 to 2, the Stetsonville club gave Gilman, winner of the first half of conference play, their second set-back of the year.

Indications are that the locals are preparing to send Stetsonville home on the short end of the count next Sunday.
