Surnames: Eastman, Mc Come, Bowen ----Source: The Daily News (Rhinelander, Oneida County, Wis.) 31 July 2008 ----Eastman, Josephine (13 Mar. 1913 – 10 July 2008) Josephine (Lowery) Eastman, age 95, of Peshtigo died on July 10, 2008. She was a resident of Rennes Health Care Center East. Born on March 13, 1913 in Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Pearl (Mc Come) Lowery. Her early life and schooling were in Fifield. Josephine loved the Packer football games, #4 Bret Favre and chocolate. She is survived by her special angel, Patty Ann Ison and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eastman; brothers, Mayne Lowery and Theodore (Dorothy) Lowery; sisters, Norma Lowery, Alice Lowery and Marion and Aaron Bowen. As a longtime resident of Rennes, the family wants to thank all the staff and her friends for their kindness. Funeral services will be at Lowery Family Cemetery and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield at a later date. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home in Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
