Obit: Laabs, Albert (1872? – 1956)
Surnames: Laabs, Krueger ----Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 08/09/1956 ----Laabs, Albert (1872? – 5 Aug. 1956) Funeral rites were held Wednesday afternoon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home at Owen for Albert Laabs, Sr., who died of a heart attack Sunday at the Clark County Hospital where he had been living the past 13 years. He was 84 years old. Burial was made at Curtiss where Mr. Laabs formerly resided and where he was engaged in business as a barber. Mr. Laabs is survived by three children, Mrs. Henry Krueger of Abbotsford, Albert, Jr., of Owen, and Ernest of Fertile, Minn.; three brothers, Emil and Arthur of Colby and Ferdinand of Pocatello, Idaho; 12 grand children and six great grand children. One child preceded him in death.
