September 23, 1948 ---Teclaw, Lillian (Marriage – 1 September 1948) Miss Lillian Teclaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Teclaw of Thorp, was married September 1, (1948) to Leon Kaczmarek of Thorp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kaczmarek of Lublin. The marriage was solemnized at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp, by the Rev. Fr. Francis Piekarski. The bride’s sister, Marcella Teclaw, was maid of honor; and bridesmaids were Marcella Kinas, Angeline Teclaw, Dorothy Solberg, Patsy Kinas Donna LaFlex and Virginia Kinas. The groom’s attendants were Malen Teclaw, Leon Pawlak, Marion Teclaw, Eddie Neiman, Raymond Giwojna and Raymond Teclaw.
