John Lukken was an early shopper at Curtiss Friday morning. Miss Hannah Sorline was a Curtiss shopper Friday. Rudie Dunbrowe was in Curtiss trading Friday. Chas. Jakel was a Curtiss business caller Friday. Louis Schroeder drove over to Owen on business Friday. Mr. C. H. Ravy and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Gillette and Mr. Geo. Schroeder and family drove out to the Albert Johnson's to spend Sunday on the farm. Emil Lenzer and wife left Saturday morning for Hazelhurst to visit a sister of Mrs. Lenzer. Mrs. And Mrs. Louis Schroeder and family on Saturday drove over to Lublin, returning in the evening. Henry Heinzel brought in a load of 2X6 to be dressed Thursday. T. B. Peterman and family returned Thursday from their outing of a week on Long Lake. Ole Gillertson and Emery Neitzel were Curtiss callers Thursday evening. Mrs. Wm. Hoffman of Marshfield, a sister of Mrs. F. A. Ecke and Ed. Crowsey came up on No 5 Thursday. The Watermelon man was in Curtiss Tuesday with a dandy load of them. Mr. Chas. Smith was in Curtiss Tuesday with load of stove wood. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kroger were early Tuesday callers, They brought a dandy hog to the butchers. Allen Knight and family were in Curtiss doing trading Tuesday afternoon. Louis Schroeder caught two nice Pickerel Thursday, Louis is some fisherman. Viola Ecke came home from Minneapolis Saturday evening for a visit. She has spent the past seven months there visiting her aunt. Fred Graves drove over form Thorp Saturday evening to the wrestling match. L. A. Hengle and family drove over to Marshfield Saturday afternoon to visit over Sunday with the Mrs. Hengle folks. For Sale: Hotel or will trade for 80 acre farm. F. D. Steinert, Abbotsford, Wis. Arnie Olson went over to Cherokee Saturday to visit his son Fred. Earnest Theme and wife were Curtiss shoppers Saturday. |
