The Club’s basket ball team met the Colby High’s on the Cherokee floor. The former team lost by a score 27-24. The referee let the game get pretty rough in the first half which ended in an argument. Every five minutes they put in a fresh man. Steinwand, Fricke and Laabs played the game five minutes and the bench ten. Nevertheless they didn’t push Cherokee off the map as they intended doing. The line up for Cherokee was: Rein, F., Brehm, F., Cappel, Center, Eggebrecht and Kliefoth guards. The Colby line-up: Weix, F., Greb, F., Reyer, Center and Firnstahl Guard with Steinwand, Frick and Laabs playing the other guard.
