A fine following turned out for the hour concert. The following program was given in a finished manner: Hall of Fame Concert March J. Olivadoti O Light of Life Chorale D. S. Bortniansky Victory Overture O. Taylor Cornet Trio Clarence Nelson, Maurice Thompson, Betty Kelsey --- Three of a Kind Buchtel --- Three Charms Buchtel --- Accompanied at the piano by Mrs. A. J. Folstad Valedictorian March E. Weber Will You Remember from Maytime S. Romberg Tango De Armor J. Olivadoti Honor Band March E. Weber Princess of the Sun Overture C. W. Bennet Chalma Waltz H. Bennet Track Team March Ed Chenette Dream Ship E. Delamater Comet March J. Olivadoti Military Escort March H. Bennet A dance with music by Emil and his band followed. The turkey which had been on display during the afternoon was awarded to Norman Miller. The entire project was sponsored by the Band and Glee Club Parent Associations with proceeds going for band uniforms and band and glee club activities. The band is composed of the following members and instruments: Cornet: Betty Kelsey, Clarence Nelson, Morris Thompson, Juanita Sybeldon, Vivian Busch, Adeline Kocian. Trombone: Shirley Green, Jack Kelsey. Baritone Horn: Gerry Reeves. Melophone: Lorraine Keller, Bonnie Moore, Beverly Pascoe. Flute: Elaine Johnson. Baritone Saxaphone: Verna Stelzel. Alto Saxaphone: June Jolivette, Beulah Hinke. Tenor Saxaphone: Doris Johnson. Snare Drums and Bells: Art Jollivette. Bass Drum: Clarence Hoeft. Clarinet: Doris Kelsey, Richard Jollivette, Verna Mueller, Nila Mateofsky, Vangel Bobbe. Cymbals: Eva Berger. Sousaphone: Margaret Berger. |
