Schilling Station

Partridges will be quite plentiful this season, as it has been so dry that the old ones could hatch and rear their young, by the large flocks of young partridges seen in the woods around here.

Oscar Fricke of Greenwood, was seen in our neighborhood last week, He was looking among the farmers for excelsior bolts.

Wild strawberries seem to be quite plenty, judging from the number of people traveling with pails in search of them.

Rev. Andrews was a caller at the Larson Sunday School Sunday. By the way, if your Sunday Schools get the disease called the droops, send for Uncle George.

P. M. Stevens of Greenwood, was seen in our neighborhood last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. White, of the Twenty-six road, were the visitors of Ed Vine and family, also their daughter, Mrs. Geo. Harlow, last Sunday.

S. R. Kelly and family made a short visit at the home of G. Phillips Monday afternoon.

L. Reimer's daughters were the guest of E. Vine last Saturday.

Mrs. John Severson and Miss Mila Hendrickson were visitors at the home of H. Salswiedel's last Sunday.

The last showers of rain were very beneficial to farmers.

Carl Christopherson finished a nice piece of turnpiking on the line between the towns of Warner and Beaver.

Henry Grass is making excelsior bolts for S. Andrews.

Albert Stabnaw is making preparations for the building of a new barn, which is 28x36.

S. R. Kelley is giving his house a good coat of paint, which adds to the appearance of it very much.

Chas. Steenberg has had the masons plaster his new house, which will soon be ready to move into.
