--------- Fleischauer, Anna M. (29 NOV 1857 - 30 AUG 1919)

Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Wis.), Mrs. Ferdinand Fleischauer, at 4:30 p.m. August 30, 1919, of apoplexy, aged 67 years, 9 months and 1 day, after and illness of but five days. Anna Maria Reich was born Nov. 29, 1857 in East Prussia, Germany and in the year 1873, Sept. 29, was united in marriage to Mr. Ferdinand Fleischauer. To this union was born eight children, seven of who survive her, being: Evelyn Strathmann, Bertha, Johanna, Ida and Emil, all of Colby, Mary Wenzel of Medford, and Robert of San Francisco, Cal.

On Oct. 30, 1891, Mr. and Mrs. Fleischauer came to the United States and settled in McKeesport Co. Here they remained until Aug. 6, 1895, when they came to Colby, Wis., Mr. Fleischauer following up his trade of tailoring.

The last services were held this afternoon at 2:30 from Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. C. C. Hartenstein officiating. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Burial was made in the Colby Cemetery.

After a long, busy and useful life, she died as she had lived, honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her, her life was completed if work all done and well done constitutes completion. Her Christian life was beautiful from its beginning to its close, and through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met in her way, her faith in God never wavered. But she has left us and today the autumn leaves fall upon another grave that will soon hide from sight all that is mortal of a true and noble woman.
