LOOS-BECKER

7 St. Anthony's Catholic Church at i Loyal was the scene of a quiet fall wedding Tuesday morning, October 29th, at 9:00 o'clock, when Miss Viola Ann Loos, daughter of of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Loos, became the bride of Arthur Becker, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Becker. Rev. A. J. Aurit officiated.

The bride Was attired in an olive green ensemble, and carried white dahlias. She was attended by her sister, Dorothy, and Miss Mae Becker, sister of the groom. Both wore brown dresses with accessories to match and carried yellow dahlias.

The groom was attended by his brother, Delbert, and Roy Loos, brother of the bride. Before the wedding march, played by Miss Eleanor Theisen, little Patricia Haas sang "Just for Today." Miss Rosetta Schuld sang the "Ave Maria" at Offertory. The altar was decorated with tall candies and bouquets of flowers. On either side of the gates stood large baskets of flowers. In the evening, a dance was given at Merry Ol' Gardens.

The couple will be at home to their friends on a farm southwest of Loyal. The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a happy wedded life.
