County News 
 

Eidsvold

 

Miss Cook returned to Unity on Monday.

 

Several of our citizens spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Pike Lake.

 

Baxter's hotel is now known as the Marshfield house.

 

Mrs. L. Bruno of the town of Withee, was an Eidsvold caller last week.

 

Three boys, sons of a farmer living near here during the absence of their parents one day last week, put on their Sunday clothes and "skipped." They intended to see the world, but were recognized in Stanley and detained until their parents came after them.

 

A social dance at M. M. McCafferty's Saturday night, is reported.

 

Several of our young people attended a dance at Reseberg Saturday night.

 

The Union Sunday School, the oldest religious society in Eidsvold, has suspended operations for a time at least.

 

Landlord Baxter entertained friends from Marshfield last week.

 

School Notes: T. F. Crowley of Thorp, began the fall term in the Kern district on Monday. Maggie Burns of Worden, has been engaged to teach another year in the Gorman district. A new district comprising territory now embraced in numbers three and four, is talked of.
