Joe Jacobson was down from Ashland Sunday.

Joe LeClaire left for Cloquette, Minn. Monday.

One of Herman Newenberger's horses died Friday.

Henry Lieders returned from Appleton Monday.

R. M. Lamont was in town Wednesday afternoon.

Dora Ruhmer came over from St. Paul Saturday.

R. B. Salter of Colby was in town between trains Thursday.

Chas. Helsten and Harry Harvey drove up from Colby Sunday.

Julius Kauffmann of Dale shipped a carload of cattle south Saturday.

Hattie Bitter, who has been visiting at Stanley returned home Tuesday.

A bouncing baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Shaw Friday.

Roy Taylor, editor of the Clarion, Abbotsford, was in town Wednesday.

N. G. Tabor and W. D. Chamness were in Colby and Abbotsford Monday on business.

Alois Stephenson and wife left for Scandinavia, Wis., Wednesday for a short visit to his folks.

Fred Meyers of Pennington on the Sat. was down last week looking for a girl to work in his hotel at that place.

Peter Liberty had a finger amputated Sunday. Dr. Nedry performed the operation, assisted by Dr. D. A. Meyers.

The household goods of Frank Staadt were shipped to Phillips last week. Mr. Staadt will make that place his home.

H. LaBossier and wife, Mrs. Julius LeClaire and Gilbert LeClaire drove to Merrill Saturday. They will also visit Wausau.

Some of the citizens of Dorchester will apply to the Circuit Court at Neillsville, September 28, for the incorporation of the village of Dorchester.

John Schmitt, formerly of this place, now located at Medford and agent for the Medford Brewing Co., was in Dorchester.
