Complete Obit of Sylvester Fellenz:

Sylvester J. Fellenz, 83, Loyal, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, with a 5 p.m. prayer service at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Amy Fellenz, Gina Fellenz, mark Fellenz, Scott Fellenz, Kristy Fellenz, and Robert J. Fellenz.

Sylvester Joseph Fellenz was born on Sept. 8, 1920 in Kewaskum, to Cornelius and Mayme (nee Kadinger) Fellenz. He farmed with his parents and moved with them to farm in Loyal in 1931. He married Agnes Loss on May 2, 1944, in Spencer. They farmed in the Town of Sherman until 1968, when they sold the farm and moved just south of Loyal. He then worked for Pathfinder Homes, Spencer, and Roth Manufacturing, Loyal, before retiring. His interests included farming, traveling, woodworking, gardening, snowmobiling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Fellenz, Sun Prairie, and Robert (Glenda) Fellenz, Loyal; five grandchildren, Mark (Gina) Fellenz, Loyal, Kristy (Ryan Ashbeck) Fellenz, Greenwood, Amy (Josh Rakovec) Fellenz, Loyal, Robert J. Fellenz, Loyal, and Scott Fellenz, Loyal; five great-grandchildren, Colton Fellenz, Brittany Fellenz, Andrea Fellenz, Mikayla Fellenz, all of Loyal; and Dylan Neustedt, Greenwood; and one brother, Norbert (Diane) Fellenz, Loyal.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Irene, on Sept. 28, 2000, and one brother-in-law, John Loss.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, is assisting the family with arrangements.
