Mrs. Hannah Ann Dickinson, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, was laid to rest in the Colby Cemetery Friday, Jan. 13, beside her husband, funeral services being held at the house and at the Presbyterian Church at Abbotsford, Rev. Fahlgren officiating.

The deceased was born in Juniata Co., Penn., March 18, 1843, thus reaching the age of 84 years, 9 months and 21 days. She moved to Illinois with her parents in 1852 and was married to Reynold Hill Dickinson at Ottowa, Ill., Aug. 3, 1865. She and her husband moved from Illinois to Wisconsin in 1875. Her husband, a Civil War Veteran, was accidentally killed in 1896. Five children were born to this union, namely: George B. Dickinson, Riverside; Mrs. A. L. Cramer, Venice, Cal.; Earl H. Dickinson, Milwaukee; Mrs. Robert Hamilton, Colby; Mrs. August Strebe, Abbotsford. All are still living and were present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. A. L. Cramer, who spent part of last summer with her mother. Her departure is also mourned by one sister, Mrs. Mary Kelly, Earlville, Ill.; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Grandsons acted as pallbearers. She died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1928, senile ailment, followed by a stroke, being the cause of her death.

After the marriage of all of her children, she had lived with her youngest daughter, Mrs. Strebe of Abbotsford, where she was at the time of her death. She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church since early childhood, has been a kind Christian woman and had many friends among young and old. She will be greatly missed, especially by her daughter with whom she had lived so long, but, with her great faith in her Savior, her death was like going home, where she had so many loved ones waiting.
