A quiet wedding was solemnized when Miss Edna Wiersig, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed F. Wiersig, 227 Stratford, St., Plymouth, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Edward F. Giebler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Giebler, 616 W. Summit St., Plymouth, Wis., at a ceremony performed at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 1928, in the parsonage of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Martin Schmidt reading the service.

The bride wore a gown of pink taffeta. Her bouquet was composed of pink roses and swansonias.

Miss Claire Wiersig and Max Giebler, Jr., were the attending couple. The bridesmaid's frock was a green crepe and her attractive bouquet consisted of mixed flowers.

At 6:30 p.m., a wedding dinner was served for immediate relatives and friends. A reception followed the dinner party. Flowers were used in carrying out the decorations. Mr. and Mrs. Giebler are enjoying a wedding trip, but have not announced their destinations. Upon their return, they will make their home in Milwaukee, Wis.

The bride was a Colby, Wis. High School student for three years and lived with her parents on a farm two and one-half miles east of Colby for eighteen years. The past three years, she ahs been employed as secretary for the Roland Schiebe Insurance Agency at Plymouth.

Mr. Giebler, a Plymouth High School graduate, has been employed with his father as painter and decorator since his graduation from school.

Many friends and relatives extend their congratulations and best wishes.
