A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at Dorchester, Clark County, Wis., May 7, 1929, Rev. J. Brandt reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Leona Laack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Laack of Dorchester, became the bride of Mr. Harry Mandel, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Mandel of Colby. Miss Elva Laack acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Edmond Voss.

The bride was beautifully gowned in a dress of shell pink with cream oriental lace and wore a veil of flesh pink with a headdress of rhinestones and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a dress of passion flower georgette and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding reception was held, the home being nicely decorated in pink for the occasion.

In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft's pavilion, which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to the twin cities and will be at home after May 19th, at the South Hull Cheese Factory, where the groom will be employed as cheese maker.

Both the bride and groom are well and favorably known in their respective communities and have many friends with whom we join in extending congratulations.
