Obit: Hebert, Perry / 1 Aug 1994
Perry Hebert (1926 - 1994) CHILI- Perry I. Hebert, 68, Chili, died at 4 a.m. August 1, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, where he had been admitted Sunday. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Chili. The Rev. Calvin Carey will officiate. Beth Foemmel will be pianist for congregational singing. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday. Rembs/Kundinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. He was born February 27, 1926 in the town of Lynn, Clark County, to Elliot Francis and Katherine Ann (Bauer) Hebert. He attended Chili School and then was employed in Illinois until entering the U. S. Army. He served during World War II from June 24, 1944, until April 22, 1946, being stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He married Juanita Melvin on September 4, 1945 in Dillon, South Carolina. After his military discharge, he returned to chili and was employed by Chili Milk Pool for a year. He then was with W.J. Spry & Son Feed Mill in Chili for 15 years. At that time he became a welder/electrician serviceman for Praschak Machine Co. of Marshfield for 23 years, retiring in 1986 because of ill health. While with Praschak’s, he serviced its machinery equipment in the United States and various countries throughout the world. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Paula Hebert of Milwaukee, Barbara (Dennis) Heart of Chili, and Judy (Doug) Stock of Iron Mountain, Michigan; and two grandchildren, Ross Heart of Spencer and Amy Heart of Stevens Point. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Arlene Fischer and hazel Jonas, and one grandson Aaron Chaltry. (Marshfield News-Herald) |
