Surnames: PEISSIG BEIL HAUS CUTTS ---------Source: OWEN ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 06/12/1930 --------- Peissig, Mary (7 MAY 1877 - 2 JUN 1930) Mrs. H. J. Peissig passed away at her home near Curtiss, Clark County, Wis. on Monday, June 2, 1930, after a several week illness of cancer of the stomach. She was first taken ill early this spring and took treatments at the Chippewa Falls Hospital and at Milwaukee, but to no avail. Mrs. Peissig, whose maiden names was Mary Beil, was born in Austria and came to this country in 1892. In 1896 she was married to Mr. Peissig and resided on the same farm near Curtiss all the years while here. She was 53 years old at the time of her death. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her untimely death, six sons and three daughters, Harry, Alphon, Arthur, Franklin, Henry and Theodore, and Mrs. Henry Haus, Mrs. Rollo Cutts and Hilda. Al the children reside near Curtiss. Funeral services were held Saturday at Curtiss, Rev. Hartmann of Colby, officiating, and interment was made in Pine Hill Cemetery. |
