Lola Esther Beatrix Rounseville was born at Sheboygan Falls, Wis., on July 12, 1873, daughter of Nancy Ann Kittell and Samuel Rounseville.

She was reared at Sheboygan Falls, following which she taught school for several terms. She was united in marriage with Frank Bradbury at Valentine, Nebraska. After residing in Nebraska for many years they returned to a Clark County, Wisconsin farm 14 years ago, where she has resided since.

She passed away at the Nyle Benedict home at York Center on April 27, 1943, at the age of 69 years, nine months and 15 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, and one daughter, Inez Amy.

She is survived by one brother, Roscoe A. Rounseville, of De Smet, South Dakota (who is the last of the family of nine sisters and brothers), two daughters, Mrs. Nyle A. Benedict of Neillsville, Mrs. A. Glenn Miller of Biddle, Montana, one son, Miles L. Bradbury of West Chicago, Ill., and five grand-children.

Mrs. Bradbury was a lover of children and flowers, a loyal American and an ardent reader, deeply interested in politics and current events. She had been an invalid from arthritis the past six years, and her many friends brightened her fading years with gifts of beautiful flowers and reading matter and their companionship, for which she constantly expressed her deep and sincere appreciation.

Funeral rites were held at the York Center at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. George W. Longenecker officiating.

The pallbearers were, Roy Lawrence, Ed Voight, Jesse Mortimer, William Benedict, Emil Korth and Carl Sischo. Interment was made in the York Center cemetery.

Three hymns, "Rock of Ages", "In the Sweet Bye and Bye", and "Life's Railway to Heaven" were sung by Mrs. Jesse Mortimer, Mrs. Bert Walker, Merton Davis and James Young.

Friends and relatives from a distance who attended the funeral included, Mr. And Mrs. Miles Bradbury and son, Verne, of West Chicago, Mrs. Art Adams of Stockton, Ill., Mrs. Martha Bidlingmaier of Milwaukee, Mrs. Marvin Putnam and son, Tommy, of West Bend, Wis. And Miss Olive Trowbridge of Plymouth, Wis.

Mrs. Bradbury had been an invalid and a great sufferer for many years but was always patient and cheerful and always glad to see her friends. To know her was to love her.
