--------- Miller, Kenneth (29 APR 1923 - 1954)

Although he had been in poor health for several years, friends of Kenneth Lee Miller, 31, son of Mrs. Grace Miller, Withee, Clark County, Wis., were shocked when learning of his death last Thursday night.

Monday of last week he became ill at his home in the town of Hixon, when he apparently suffered a heart attack. Wednesday his condition became more critical, requiring hospitalization. He passed away within 24 hours after being admitted to Victory Hospital in Stanley.

Funeral services were conducted from the Nazareth Danish Lutheran Church in Withee, with Rev. J. L. J. Dixen officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Richard Petersen, John Petersen, George Sorensen, Norman Andreasen, Woodrow Petersen and Walter Bruckschlager. In charge of floral offerings were Mesdames Woodrow Petersen, Norman Andreasen, Earl Petersen, Grant Andersen and Miss Lorraine Watson and Hulga Andersen.

Kenneth was born on April 29, 1923, in the town of Hixon and attended Frenchtown Grade School. As a youngster he became seriously ill and had never regained his health sufficiently to allow him to continue his schooling or participate in the normal activities of one's life.

His passing was mourned by his mother, three brothers, Clarence, Bertel and Vernon, all of Withee, two sisters, Irene at home and Mrs. Quito (Eleanore) Laine of Tofti, Minn.
