--------- Franklin, Caroline M. (24 OCT 1841 - 25 MAR 1906)

Mrs. A. B. Franklin died at her home in this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) Sunday afternoon soon after three o'clock. Although ill for some time, her death was quite unexpected and came as a shock to her friends. The funeral was held from the F. M. Church Tuesday afternoon and the interment was in the town of Mentor Cemetery.

Miss Caroline M. Weaver was born in Ypsilanti, Mich., Oct. 24, 1841, and was married to A. B. Franklin Aug. 21, 1859. She moved to Wisconsin in 1862, where her husband joined her at the close of the war. They lived at Avoca until 1871 and then moved to Osseo. Four years ago they came to Humbird. Mrs. Franklin leaves an aged husband and nine sons and daughters to mourn her death. They are Mrs. Alice E. Anderson of Taylor; Geo. E., whose address is unknown; Mrs. Theresa J. Shaver of Rice Lake; Mrs. Elsie Hankin of Dallas; Mrs. Edith E. Boling of Osseo; Mrs. May Jacobs of Sechlerville; Mrs. Libbie E. Robinson of Everett, wash; Mrs. Carrie I. Antwine and Warren A. of this village.

Mr. A. B. Franklin, who has been ill for a number of weeks, continues in about the same condition, with a little improvement. He was unable to attend the funeral of Mrs. Franklin Tuesday.
