Clark County

Longwood. Aug. 29.

Dr. H.R. Schofield was in town Tuesday. John Sanders and wife were Greenwood callers Wednesday.

P. Palmer and family visited at the home of James Dunn Sunday.

Mesdames Withee and Shaw of Hemlock were in town Monday evening.

John Arnold ate supper at the Withee home in Hemlock Sunday.

Alida Swenson and Delia Schoenwetter attended a party at S.B. Moore’s Thursday evening.

Edith and Maud Varney were seen in our midst Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Ed. Van Alstine and daughter Miss Sola were in town Saturday forenoon.

John Owen and friends passed through town on the automobile Friday evening enroute to Hemlock. Mrs. E.L. Bond and the Misses Birdine Anderson, Olive and Alta Rand were Riverside callers Saturday.

Ivy Moore entertained a number of young people Tuesday evening, the occasion being her sixteenth birthday.

Mrs. H. Nelson and children, Carl and Gladys expect to leave the first of the week for their new home in Viroqua. The family, during their short residence here, have made many friends who deeply regret their departure.
