The Free Methodists held a convention her Friday and Saturday.

George Hall of Merrillan, called here on business Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bowen and son of Fairchild, visited here over Sunday.

Mr. Hobbs of Eau Claire, who has been visiting here, returned home the first of the week.

Anna Hart called at Fairchild Saturday.

T. Andrus returned last week from Ashland, where he went to have two tumors removed by Dr. Andrus.

Miss Dora Braman, who is working at Merrillan, Sundayed at home.

Mrs. D. A. Schumacher returned from Michigan Friday, where she was called by the illness of her son.

Mrs. Martha Comstock aged 83yr. 8 mo., died at this place of pneumonia on March the 5th. She leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn her death.

Zvlphia Lightfoot of Fairchild, visited in our burg Sunday.

Miss Young of Fairchild, visited with Mrs. G. W. Crandell Saturday.

Mrs. Rose McCarthy of Stanley, is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Daisy Maxon.

Mrs. Anna Windsor and daughter, Hazel of York Center, attended meetings here last week.

Mr. and Mrs. George Hart were Neillsville callers Saturday.
