Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Brehm were at Adell and Milwaukee Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Sterzinger and children were Sunday callers at the Albert Pokallus home in Marshfield.

Barbara Bencier and Max Farning left for Menomonie where they are attending Stout State College.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Larson of Marshfield were Saturday evening visitors at the W. W. Sossaman home.

Rev. Wm. R. Christian and Junior Tesmer attended the world series ball game at Milwaukee Monday.

Henry Franz and W. A. Frome of Marshfield spent the week-end at the Ray Franz cottage and fishing on Lake Bucktatobon.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Morgan and children of Fond du Lac spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Lillie Allmann and other relatives.

Miss Erma Guenther of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Gordon Forbisch of Colby spent the week-end at Sheboygan Falls, Kohler and Sheboygan.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Thieme announce the birth of a son, Rodney Lynn, Sunday evening, Oct. 6, at the Marshfield hospital. Rodney weighed nine pounds, eight ounces.

Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Sossaman and children of Milwaukee visited over the week-end with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sossaman, and Mrs. Darrell Sossaman’s father, John Lindberg, at Abbotsford.

Mr. and Mrs. John Marx visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Wickman, and children at Oshkosh several days. They also visited a week with relatives and friends in Sheboygan county.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schumacher of New Ulm, Minn., Miss Emma and Adolph Schumacher of Fairfax, Minn., came last Tuesday to visit their sister, Mrs. Wm. Becherer, who is a patient in the Marshfield hospital. They returned home Monday morning.
