Grosshuesch are visiting in Rockford, Ill. Miss Hattie Krepsky entered the Marshfield hospital for medical treatments. A daughter was born on August 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Diedrich at the Marshfield hospital. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Zuther of Colby at the Marshfield hospital July 31. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gosse of Colby, Route 2, at the Marshfield hospital July 31. Ward Keller, a student at St. Joseph’s College, Collegeville, Ind., visited several days at the homes of Mrs. Nick Gierl. Mary Jane Umhoefer of Janesville spent the past week at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Umhoefer. Joe and Patricia Maes of Milwaukee are spending several weeks with their grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Nelsen. Miss Clara Bartik of Plainfield visited several days at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. X. Umhoefer. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Waldinger July 27 at Memorial Hospital, Wausau. Mrs. Waldinger is the former Evelyn Mielke. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leichtnam and family of West Allis spent a week here at the Charles Witt home and at Abbotsford with Mrs. Celia Leichtnam. Mrs. C. F. Lindner of Colby and Mrs. Arvel Mengel of Owen visited friends at Madison, Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls and North Lake for a week. Dennis Frome of Marshfield spent the past two weeks with his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Frome. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Singstock were Monday evening visitors at the Frome home. Rev. Wm. R. Christian and Robert Hintz spent several days at River Forest, Ill., where they attended the convention of the Lutheran Education Association and the National Parent-Teachers.
