Mrs. Ewert Johnson cut her forehead and bruised her face when she ran into a side view mirror on Robert Schaller’s truck at his home. She was taken to the Colby Clinic for treatment.

Rev. J. Milton Nelson of Marinette, conference president, was guest speaker at the Trinity Lutheran church Sunday.

Recent visitors at the Frank Pfeffer home were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Adler and John Pfeffer of Marengo and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stolarczyk and daughter, Terrie, of Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Woods of Caspian, Mich., visited several days with the latter’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Salem Johnson, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. William Fieldgrove of Stockton, Calif., visited several days at the home of Mrs. Lucy Colby.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer, Mrs. Alice Duerf and Mrs. Edwin Burnett drove to Wausau recently where they visited Mrs. Kuehnau, a patient in the Memorial Hospital there. Mrs. Kuehnau fractured her hip in a fall.

The Brownie Scouts resumed their meetings after a summer recess. Miss Eileen Johnson is their leader.

Louis Hartl entered a team in the horse-pulling contest at Edgar and won second place in the middleweight contest.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boyer of Unity, Route 1, at the Marshfield hospital October 2.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ravey of Plainfield spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. George Cook and at the Cook cabin at Manitowish Waters.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Woods of Caspian, Mich., visited several days at the Salem Johnson home.
