Local Items

Maurice Olson, Neenah, spent the week end at the Walter Jackson home. Mrs. Olson and son, Billy, who had spent the previous week with her parents, returned home with him, on Sunday.

Herman Schueler is visiting his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Marg at Schofield.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Olson and son, Billy, were Easter day guests at the Ernest Schief home, Medford.

Orson Adams spent Wednesday and Thursday in Hancock. On Saturday, they will move their household goods and Mrs. Adams and her mother, Mrs. Caroline Notbohm, will accompany Mr. Adams there, when he will assume his new duties as publisher of the Hancock News.

A. J. Le Claire is employed at the Beil Mercantile store. He is staying at the home of his sister, Mrs. Edith Kramer.

The interior of the Beil Mercantile Co. store is being redecorated.

Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Folstad, daughter, Lynn, Mrs. Maurice Hutt and Dr. Clarence Chronquist, of Marshfield, spent the Easter week end with their mother, Mrs. Frank Chronquist, Barron.

The Auxiliary to Our Boys in Service will meet Thursday evening, Apr. 16, at the home of Mrs. Maurice Thompson.

Mrs. M. C. Bunnell left this afternoon as a delegate to attend the state convention of the Women’s Benefit association at the Hotel Raulf, Oshkosh. She will attend the banquet this evening, the meetings on Friday and return here, Saturday.

Walter Fults, and son, James, attended a Puroil meeting at Madison, Wednesday.

Mrs. Mike Herdegen and son, Bobby, Chicago, spent from Friday until Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Lamont.

Frank Nikolay, who attends the University at Madison, spent the Easter week end with his mother, Mrs. Jake Nikolay.

Mrs. Louis Kauffman, who had been a surgical patient at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, returned home on Tuesday.
