Surnames: French, Tifft, Archer Source: NEILLSVILLE TIMES (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 07/11/1907 Tifft, Mable B. #2 (9 JUL 1907) Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock occurred one of the prettiest home weddings which ever took place in this city, namely the marriage of Edward Franklin French and Miss Mable Beatrice Tifft. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s mother, Rev. Albert R. Rice officiating, and was witnessed by immediate relatives of the contracting parties. Miss Tifft made an unusually beautiful bride, being attired in white fawn. A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony and the happy couple took the noon train for their wedding tour through Yellowstone Park, Oregon and Washington. The Tifft home was beautifully decorated with roses and ferns. Little Blondine Archer was the ring bearer. Mr. French is too well known in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) to extol his many merits. He is a successful builder and contractor and has a fine home already prepared to receive his bride at Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. French is one of the most pleasant and popular of Neillsville’s fair daughters. Her pleasing personality and winsome manners leaves nothing to be desired in her many accomplishments. Mr. and Mrs. French will be at home in Los Angeles at the completion of their wedding tour. The Times extends it very earnest congratulations. |
