On June 30^th, 1928, at Laporte, Ind., Miss Marvel LaFlex of 764 56^th St., Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex LaFlex of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Weldemar Hilgenforf of Thiensville, Wis., at the home of the Rev. Theo. Guesswine, cousin of the bridegroom. The bride was attire in a gown of white satin and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by Miss Ada Guesswine, who was attired in a pink gown and carried pink roses and sweet peas. Armon Guesswine acted as best man.

After the ceremony a host of friends and relatives enjoyed a bountiful wedding supper at the home of the Rev. Guesswine, from which place the young couple started on an extended honeymoon. They will reside at Thiensville.
