FERN AUDREY PEDERSON/TALBERT ERICKSON MARRIAGE

A very pretty wedding took place Tuesday, June 1st, 1926, at 2:00 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gus A. Pederson of Colby, Clark County, when their oldest daughter, Fern Audrey, was united in marriage to Talbert Erickson of Marshfield. The Rev. J. W. Parker officiated with the beautiful ring service.

The attendants were Miss Velda Pederson, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Phil Smith of Marshfield as groomsman.

The bride was lovely in white satin and lace and veil with coronet of pearls, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses, lilies of the valley and sweet peas.

The bridesmaid wore pink crepe-de-chine and a corsage of roses and lilies of the valley.

The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion.

After the ceremony, an elaborate dinner was served by the bride's mother, after which, the young couple left on an auto trip to points in Minnesota and Iowa, where the groom's father resides.

Both parties are well and favorably known around Greenwood. The bride was reared to womanhood in this vicinity and graduated from the local High School with the class of 1922. The past three years she has been employed at Stevens Point as a bookkeeper at the Woolworth Store.

The groom lived with his parents near Loyal for several years.

Those from out of town who attended the wedding were: Mrs. Morris Anderson and children, the Misses Jane Anderson, Alice Turrish, Verne Craig, Francis Ryskoski and Evelyn Nichols, all of Stevens Point Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith and little son of Chili, the latter a sister of the groom, Mr. Homer Smith of Marshfield, Mr. Vernon Smith of Loyal and Mr. Sam Parker of Metropolis, Ill.

They will be at home after June 15th, at Cedar Hedge Farm at Marshfield, where the groom is employed as Herdsman.

Their many friends join the Gleaner in extending them the best of wishes.
