ANNA STABNOW/VANER LINDGREN MARRIAGE

On Wednesday, June 15, 1932, Miss Anna Stabnow became the bride of Vaner Lindgren, at Rural Chapel. Miss Stabnow is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Stabnow of the Town of Beaver, Clark County, and Mr. Lindgren is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Lindgren of Owen.

Miss Regina Borchardt sang Perfect Love , while Miss Theresa Markham accompanied, and also played the wedding march. Rev. J.D. Crandall, American Sunday School Union Missionary of Merrillan performed the marriage, with ring ceremony, at 2:00 o'clock.

Miss Delores Lindgren, youngest sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid, while Mrs. Vern Severson, only sister of the bride, acted as matron of honor. Axel Lindgren, brother of the groom, acted as best man.

The bride wore a gown of heavy white satin with a long trailing veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses, carnations and other lovely flowers. Miss Lindgren wore orchid organdy and Mrs. Severson light green, both wore shoulder bouquets. All gowns were ankle length.

The groom and best man wore the conventional dark blue.

The flower girls, Viola Stabnow and Vera Severson, nieces of the bride, scattered rose petals along the way.

The Chapel was very beautifully decorated in orchid, green and white crepe paper and beautiful flowers in abundance.

A large crowd witnessed the ceremony and about eight relatives and a few close friends attended the reception and buffet luncheon at the home of the bride's parents.

The young couple will leave for the west soon, where Mr. Lindgren will oversee and run a combine for the man for whom he has worked the past few years.

Those from away who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Stabnow and family of Millan, Mr. L.T. Ward and daughter of Ruso, N.D. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stabnow and (The rest of my copy was cut off)
