McGinnis, Louisa Isabelle (Marriage - JUN 1889)

Last evening, at 8 o'clock, at the residence of Mrs. May Stewart, in this city, Miss Louisa Isabelle McGinnis and Mr. George B. Schaffer were united in matrimony by the Rev. T. Dewitt Peake. None but a few of the relatives of the contracting parties were present and so quietly were all the arrangements completed that none but those who were present had any idea of what was to occur. Miss McGinnis is too well known to the people of this city to need introduction to our readers, and suffice it to say that her Mr. Schaffer has found a prize of which he may be justly proud. Mr. Schaffer is one of Merrill's industrious and steady young men, and his many friends will be pleased to learn of his good fortune. (Merrill News)
